Liquid Courage Open Mic

Join us every month on the 3rd Thursday of every month for our Liquid Courage Open Mic Night with Adam!

This monthly open mic is a place for acoustic musicians, poets, storytellers and spoken word artists to build community, test out creative ideas, and share their gifts. We welcome you to share original works as well as works by those who inspire you. We ask that you bring positivity, encouragement, and openness into this space.

Below are some guidelines and information about what you can expect:

1. All forms of musical or spoken word expression are welcome. We reserve the right to stop a performance if necessary (ex: excessively explicit, offensive, or discriminatory content). Please be respectful of the space, its guests, and staff.

2. Musical performances are acoustic performances only. We cannot support backing tracks from external devices (such as cell phones) at this time. See below for detail about what equipment will be provided. If you bring additional equipment we cannot guarantee functionality with our setup, but will do our best to accommodate.

3. Please arrive at 6:30 pm to sign-up. Music will start by 7pm. The order of performance will be randomized.

4. Artists are given 10 minutes to perform. Please have instruments tuned and ready to perform when called.

5. Sign-up space is limited and performance time cannot be guaranteed. If time remains after all guests who signed up have performed, there may be an opportunity for performers to take another turn.

6. Performers must be 21+

We will provide the following equipment:

   • Speakers

   • Mics: dynamic and condenser

   • Cables: 1/4″, XLR

   • Mic stands: boom, fixed

   • Guitar stand

   • 4-channel mixing board with basic built-in effects (reverb, delay, etc). 1/4″ cables can DI from built-in pickup to mixer or your instrument can be mic’d. The event host will run sound for performers and do their best to accommodate performer requests.
